It’s actually true. They bought the WAC in Waterbury. All BS teams are training there.

Attention all Fairfield County BS moms, be sure to have the au pair lock the SUV when they bring Tyler and Colton to practice.

BS abandoning lower FC? Lost the land war to that other club, the one with the new facility?

website says it's "under new management "http://www.waterburyathleticcenter.com/home.html

The BS calendar shows some (not all) teams practicing there. But I find it highly unlikely they bought an indoor facility with one field. It's cheaper to rent indoor space for the winter. https://beachsidesoccer.org/calendar/

It’s called OSA Soccer Complex now, guess what that stands for? Do a little research and get back to me once you find the common thread. I’ll give you a hint...peruse the Goal Sports website a bit.

And yes, many teams are training there, mostly older. Perhaps that’s becaus the younger ones train at Goal Sports in the winter.

The FC parents (especially Greenwich, New Canaan, Darien) won’t be too pleased about schlepping an hour plus up to Waterbury.

That used to be own CFC people

Offloading crappy facility for state of the art. Only redeeming quality of that crappy location was better commute for HC people

Looks like mosrly just DA teams train there with an occasional other team now and then. BS has teams all over from Stanford to Bridgeport to Waterbury. Buying a one-field indoor facility makes no sense for BS. Location sucks for their base too

Given BSs issues surrounding a facility wouldn't they announce this with fireworks? I bet they're renting

Not too hard to connect the dots here. Likely renting from OT (he is the OSA in the new facility name). He runs OSA clinics out of his Stratford facility. He’s the “sugar daddy” for MK.

Great location, if you want to buy opioids.

They did not buy it. Omar took over the lease. A few other clubs had been asked before Omar did it.

His taking over another dump makes sense, fits with his portfolio :) . Also explains why BS is making families go that far for training - it's cheap. There are other indoor facilities much closer to their base but no Omar to cut the price
