Trinity is where you go if you want to. Get into the NESCAC and no one else will accept you. Trinity soccer is filled with 2nd tier MA and CT players. Unless your into squash their is no athletic reason to attend Trinity. They have always been and always will be the doormat of the soccer conference.

Why does any of this matter to the student who is happy being there? Would you agree that the vast majority of students attending Trinity are happy to be there?

Not the poster - of course there are happy students there. Schools wouldn't exist otherwise. But they need to get the collective sticks out of their azzes. It's not as special as they think it is.

You would have been wise to pay attention in HS and perhaps you would have gotten into a school as academically strong as Trinity. Based on your basic grammar deficit, I’d say you went to Gateway or possibly SCSU?

Hey Trinity dad you're missing the point. Trinity has good, not great academics but it isn't Williams or Amherst. Just because you're in the same LAC division doesn't make the school equivalent both academically or athletically.

Hey Trinity dad you're missing the point. Trinity has good, not great academics but it isn't Williams or Amherst. Just because you're in the same LAC division doesn't make the school equivalent both academically or athletically.

None of them are Williams or Amherst except for Williams and Amherst. Neither of those are Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Cambridge, or Oxford. Does that mean they are losers too? Does your kid play for SoCal Blues or FCD? Does that mean that they should quit soccer?

Listen. The AD is a t***. Not up for debate. Ran out a guy who did a good job there for a number of years bc the AD had no spine. Can’t speak to the new coach. She might be great. Might not be. If she fails, the AD better watch out or he will be shown the door himself once the alums rear back. What goes around, comes around.
