She was only a part timer who happened to play in a World Cup.

FCSC is pretty easy to understand. If you have a daughter who is on a team with the Assistant DOC's daughter on it, then you will have a very good team. If you are on any other team, then its probably not worth your time.
and lets add some actual facts to this. In fall this is how their top teams did (younger ages)
Gu11 (daughters team)- no stats but in top division and one of the top teams
Gu12 - Top division 2nd place (probably there 2nd best team)
Gu13 - 4th division is their top team
Gu14 - No team
Bu11 - No data
Bu12 - 4th division
Bu13- No team
Bu14- 2nd division
This is not a great outlook for long term. They do have 2 strong girls teams at U11-U12, and one decent boys team at U14. Outside of that their top teams are in the 4th division or they don't have a team for that age group. From U11-U14 boys and girls they only have 11 teams in OYSA. Compare that to Pacific which has 19 teams, and Wa Timbers who have 22 teams in OYSA and 3 teams in RCL. Depth is important long term as players leave to go to Thorns/Timbers academy or to ECNL clubs or just burn out.

Pacific hires DOC. FCSC coaches are looking to move at end of year. This could spell disaster for Salmon Creek. Girls ‘03’s to disband. $100 Tina tries to take over team to save club payroll.

The team is disbanding. Luckily this will be masked by boys high school starting up in 6 weeks.
