Says she played in WNT games from July 2005 through Dec 2008. That’s a solid 3 years plus of activity with WNT, nothing to frown at. Experience is a valuable teacher. That said, almost no good coach does not have experience at the game they coach, but few players with experience turn into great coaches. It’s possible, but Not part and parcel.

Oh yeah, I forgot she just had a baby prior to the 2008 Olympics.

She was only a part timer who happened to play in a World Cup.

      Lets not get crazy... lol

FCSC is pretty easy to understand. If you have a daughter who is on a team with the Assistant DOC's daughter on it, then you will have a very good team. If you are on any other team, then its probably not worth your time.

and lets add some actual facts to this. In fall this is how their top teams did (younger ages)

Gu11 (daughters team)- no stats but in top division and one of the top teams
Gu12 - Top division 2nd place (probably there 2nd best team)
Gu13 - 4th division is their top team
          Gu14 - No team
          Bu11 - No data
          Bu12 - 4th division
          Bu13- No team
          Bu14- 2nd division

This is not a great outlook for long term. They do have 2 strong girls teams at U11-U12, and one decent boys team at U14. Outside of that their top teams are in the 4th division or they don't have a team for that age group. From U11-U14 boys and girls they only have 11 teams in OYSA. Compare that to Pacific which has 19 teams, and Wa Timbers who have 22 teams in OYSA and 3 teams in RCL. Depth is important long term as players leave to go to Thorns/Timbers academy or to ECNL clubs or just burn out.

She played in 3 more World Cup games than you played in. Still awesome I recognize but because someone took a class at Stanford does not make them "Stanford educated". No need to embellish accomplishments. She had a great run as a player.

I know. I guess you don't understand sarcasm.

Pacific hires DOC. FCSC coaches are looking to move at end of year. This could spell disaster for Salmon Creek. Girls ‘03’s to disband. $100 Tina tries to take over team to save club payroll.

Yes. Players are ready to move on. There still will be a ‘03 team though. The OP was fishing. The team is not folding entirely

Pretty dumb move if they are considering leaving. Perhaps you should poll the kids who went across the river and you ll find 99% of them are unhappy and the teams they are on are in no better shape. I’d say it’s worse.

Right. But, I understand the FCSC '03 girls have a new coach. Are they unhappy with him? The club in general? What gives?

                            Facilities.
Never get to see the DOC.
                            TE is never around.
                            Absolutely zero leadership.

Coach is great! Parent group is great! Girls love each other

The team is disbanding. Luckily this will be masked by boys high school starting up in 6 weeks.
What's going on with the B04 team? Is it just boys moving to high school for spring or is it something else?
