And you are a scout for who?
This may qualify as the worst post ever...

That may be true, but it is not nice.

Oh, it's definitely true. Why be nice? That would be so disingenuous.

Please share your player assessment expertise with us. What are your credentials to determine how well a player you don't know fits/doesn't fit into a program you're not coaching.

Green is not a good color on you. Worse is you're an adult.

Come on. I watch clips. Just because I only 2 mins of 1 play and not the stuff going on outside of camera view doesnt that make me an armchair coach? At least that is what my license says. A for armchair.

If you have to ask you can't afford it.

The majority of the players headed off to play college soccer are average. Let's face it, there are kids chosen all the time to play up to a level they probably shouldn't be at based on their current skill. Some of these kids will work really hard to rise up to the level of the players around them, others won't and will end up benched or dropping back down to a more reasonable level of play. Either way, you should be wishing the kid good luck and hoping he'll be in the former group rather than the latter. Congrats to the kid and here's hoping he makes the best of this opportunity.

The prior douche wishes his kid could even get considered by UNC let alone get an actual spot.

Why does everyone assume that the kid is actually getting a scholarship? Seriously how would everyone feel if they knew he was only offered a walk-on spot with no athletic money attached. Given the kid's pedigree (or lack there of) that is probably the likely scenario.

Wait until he signs his NLI.
