Care to actually stay on topic and discuss the non-competitiveness and poor record of the TBU ECNL teams? It is the topic after all :)

See how those TBU parents always try to switch the narrative?

Can only the people outside of TBU see this? Seems the TBU folks are blind to it or can't admit it?

Seriously. None of us care about the TBU College commits on this thread. Please spare us. Obviously, there are lots of ways for kids to go to college.

Just a big and serious concern that although this club supposedly has "the best coaching", and certainly has their pick of elite players in the area because the club is so large, so WHY is it NOT COMPETITIVE?

What is the issue? Can we actually have a conversation about THAT? Sheesh

Just curious what did TBU do to help her achieve this that would not have happened else where? Not trying to be a smart*** but I see all these post about how great TBU is at achieving college commits but was curious what they did for their kid to help them.

Ill tell you this... We did not lift a finger to send an email, make a phone call or produce a highlight tape. Coaches and above were involved throughout in getting her into a great D1 program. Hate if you want but its the truth. If it were not for TBU... We'd be YOU, sorry

That is awesome. We have spent countless hour putting together highlight videos and sending out emails. Our club coaches and DOC help as well but we do most of the work. Sounds like your club is doing it right.

Serious question: What exactly is the root of your hate against TBU? Did you daughter not make a particular team? Did you at some point get fired? Do you just have a massive chip on your shoulder? Are you obsessed with proving that smaller clubs are good too? What exactly is driving you?

If you are truly concerned about this issue, I suggest you set up an appointment with the TBU coaches and administrators. You will get a lot better information than on an anonymous website.

As stated before on this or a different TBU thread, TBU coaches and administration are notorious for saying anything that will make you pull your wallet out, then completely change things immediately after the season starts. You’re more likely to cypher through the loads of crap on this site and find truthful comments, than you are to get serious concerns addressed with honest answers from The Mafia.

Define "productive."

Based on my experience, the TBU ECNL program is working very well for the majority of the families in it. It appears as though it wasn't working so well for a few families that left it recently. Like most things with families, it is up to the families to find what is best for them.

Having a "productive conversation" would require two or more parties that are committed to making something better. I don't consider comments like "we went to a smaller club, my daughter loves her coach and it is only 1/8 the cost" a productive conversation. I consider that a family that found a better situation for them. Not sure why that family then has to invest a considerable amount of time posting critical comments about their former club that wasn't a good fit for them.

So you go into this quest for truth by asking a bunch of bitter, vindictive TBU rejects (including yourself) that are gleeful at every mention of coaching change or player leaving?

Why not focus on making your own club (and daughter) better instead of on dwelling on what could have been at TBU.

Take a look at standings and the results against the other club ECNL programs. Seems like TBU is REALLY struggling. Why is that something that TBU people will not discuss? Why push back and ask people to define it as a form or deflection?
