so lost in all the noise is the underlying discussion of what the protest was originally about - the inequality and a discussion of how do we change the dynamics of kindergarten to prison for many African-American males. Yes- you are going to state that he has gobs of $$$ - yes he has started a foundation to address the issues - but at the end of the day that is what is lost in this conversation. yes - one should respect the flag - but that respect should also include the acknowledgement we are not in the fairytale land you think we are and true problems need to be addressed.

Also if you think the temporary drop in stock price today will have long term impact - look at the details of their marketing of what demographics they are after. They are not the crew that frequent this board. Oh - and for all the ding - dongs who buy their stuff just to burn it - think about that for just a second... what did your money just say....

      F Nike
Pat Tillman.....maybe he should have been in the campaign. Sacrificed a lot more then a guy known more for his Afro than his completion ratio

Hell.....I would rather Tim Tebow be the Nike guy. Guy works hard. Supposedly he sucks at being an athlete, yet he won a heisman, won two national championships in college and was the mvp of one of the final games.

He took over a 1-4 team and made the nfl playoffs, even winnng a playoff game. The broncos hadn’t made the playoffs in like 5 years at the time. He still has a winn8ng record as an nfl quarterback.

Overcoming adversity? Guys mother was in a coma while pregnant with him. They found out she was pregnant when she came out of the coma. Doctors recommended abortion because they thought he would be a still birth. He was home schooled and is dyslexic. In high school, he was mr Florida, voted best football player in the state. In the first half of a game as a high school junior, he suffered a leg injury. They thought it was a cramp at first. Not only does he play the second half, but he runs for a 29 yard touchdown. Turns out it was a broken fibula and he had to miss the rest of the season.

When he is told he sucks at football, he goes out and plays minor league baseball, making an all star team. Would probably have been called up with expanded rosters on a very bad met team, but broke his hamate bone and is out the rest of the year. At the same time, he holds down a job for espn and even co host good morning America.

Doesn’t beat women, do drugs, get arrested and believes in God and humble dude who gives back. My type of American success story. You take Colin though and your Nike products. Me, I am going with under armor. They make some great polos and compression shorts.

Colin...his adversity, being a black kid adopted by a white family who gave him everything. Gets free ride to Stanford and nfl millions.

i hear what you are saying- i wont replace my Nike stuff but i certainly wont burn it and wont buy Nike for the 3 Teams that i purchase gear for (8-10K per year)

but think about this- remember the Red Hen? no big boycott or noise after the initial incident blew over (4 months ago?)
well no idea if the red Hen reopened but the visitors Chamber has been spending $5K a month on advertising to get people to come to the town- people just stopped coming to that town and the 3 surrounding ones

some people dont like to mix their fun and their politics- seems like a lot of people dont

Nike will thrive. Trump couldn't even win the popular election, and his numbers are circling the drain.

Inept. They WANT the price to tank. Dont go acting like this is some altruistic move by a giagantuc faceless corporation, that's just too fynny. There is so secret surpisevhere. They're doing it on purpose and using kaeperclown as a shill. This is on purpose. So don't go blabbering about how the common man and the target sales audience and etc. Their marketing Dept and strategy team are among the best on the planet.

This IS NOT ABOUT and has nothing to do with whatever tenuous underlying prtest he thinks he's making.

It's Nike and they're gonna make bank on this.

You think every friend, bedfellow, partner, family member didn't short the cr$p out of Nike before this went up. Lol people will make cash coming AND going on this deal.

Tanking the stock price saves them, well as of today 4billuon in a buyback (no smart pants people, they aren't going to buy all the stock and take private).

This guy is a jackass and will remain a pariah wherever he goes. Nike's going to make way more than the cost if paying him.

Mark my words, within like 12 months he's going to have a duo, or get caught with product, or attempt suice. It's all scripted and to plan. They're knock the high profile right off him when they want (they being big $$$, not the govt).

Look another ass-sore Democrat linking Trump to something he doesn't have anything to do with. Just stop crying now, it's been long enough.

I say it's Elizabeth Warren running this scam with her Indians. What you say about that? The casinos all go short on Nike and make bank. She uses that to seceed from the union to make warrenland. That make you happy with fanciful nonsense.

                        Or how about this....

It's Hillary trying to hop on kaeperclown in about a week with some bogarted photos of them in the Dominican together.. Hit all sorts of voting groups for her come back tour. Mad street cred. She then gives child labor factory using footgear companies a giant tax break.

Just stop crying now, kaeperclown is a tool and Nike is doing it for their own purposes. It's that simple.

Lmafo. You don't have any money and buying second hand at the swap meet don't count. You can't use your ebt at the swap meet, maybe the Bodega with the falsies but you're not supporting Nike with the knock offs anyway.

And htf Donnie mixed up in your Kool aid. Lol. This about Nike f o.

Simple question for you and the other lemming fools:

Tomorrow you have magic power to make one of these two things happen forever. Which do you choose?

                            1. Police become perfect in that color plays no role in any of their actions.
                            or
                            2. Every black child has a mother AND father at home.

Now tell me how much energy you, Kap, and every sickening liberal politician have spent working on the choice you made?
