Let’s assume your child is identified as one of the top 10 soccer players in the country at age 13. Would you be willing to move to another state such as California or Florida to help advance your child’s career?

only kid, flexible career for both parents, like wherever the location is? Maybe. Maybe.
Odds of all of that happening for most families? Slim to none.
If the kid is THAT good you don't need to move. Seek opportunities to advance their "career". CT doesn't currently have a kid that fits this description except only perhaps in a parent's head.

There is a few at my kids club. At least that is what the parents think and the coaches do give them special treatment. Weird thing though they can't even receive or pass the ball and their first touch is horrible.
Not sure what parents are looking at.

Really, really doubtful. As mentioned, financial position/flexibility would drive it more than anything else. Honestly, if we are talking about a top-10 player in the country you could make due anywhere and reconsider in 3-4 years.

"I know exactly what I'm looking at, pal. You don't score 57 goals as a 9-year old and not be a superstar."
