        Blind squirrels find nuts
Broken clock is right twice a day

Sometimes talented kids walk through their doors.

1 here or there is not an indication of programs quality

Right. Your club sends a ton of kids to D3 for a year or two before they quit but MLS draftee is garbage. Got it. That one actually played at IW forever and is in national system but whatever.

You miss the point. Club has NOTHING to due with success. It has everything to do with the player and what’s inside them.

The only reason that these players were “drafted” was because they were not affiliated with a MLS DA team. Most of these players will not even make the first team and play in USL

Posts 6 & 7 are spot on. Clubs don't make a player; the player makes himself a player. Depending on locale they have to train with who they can train with. No one is wishing them to fail, but the odds of non MLS players making successful pro careers are not good. It's just the statistical reality.

BS player going to the Revs, pretty much insuring his career will end there

I don't have any boys playing soccer but you guys with boys can only wish they'd get drafted to play for the Revs. Its not the Revs, its the ability to get drafted is what makes it exciting. The Revs just happened to draft him. If that was your child, Im sure you wouldn't be saying that. Alot of haters for kids. You must feel like such a man behind a keyboard. go type away tough guy.

                        Not a bad college career:

                        ACC’s Tournament Most Valuable Player.
ACC Tournament Champion (1st Championship in a decade).
NCAA College Cup Finals Participant: falling to Georgetown in penalties.
All-ACC honors for the second straight year.
                        MAC Hermann Award Semi-Finalist.
                        Generation Adidas Contract.
6th Overall Pick in MLS Super Draft, 2020, to New England Revolution.

No one is hating on the kid, but the Revs blow. It's unfortunate for him but maybe he'll be able to get out of there quickly.

Plenty of great college players don't have successful pro careers and vice versa. I wish him well, but statistically the odds are poor AND he's going to NE which doesn't have a good track record.
