I have been trying to get some information on Doral but haven't found much. Anyone have an opinion on Doral as a club? How are the coaches?

the club has lots of potential but needs to step up their game. commit to better coaches and better organization. the potential is there but until they improve in coaching and organization and get the crazy parents under control, potential will never become reality. what they do have is a steady stream of kids coming every year from venezuela and other countries that can flat out play. the club is in the middle of the hottest soccer area in miami. if they hire top coaches and structure their program, the potential is there. but they havent so far and i would not bet on it happening. all that said, if your kid lands on one of the white teams, it's not a bad option overall.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

The few I've had the misfortune to observe were complete jerks. Throwing clipboards on the ground, screaming in players' faces on the bench, swearing at referees... not sure if kickball is the correct assessment. they play a very central/south american style. ball goes forward all the time. but the strikers/attacking mids are talented, flair type players. not just boot it to the big kid that you see in clubs further north. but not possession by any means.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
