Path to the pro team must mean paying a giant fee to market the OC logo. The path to the pro team runs through Monteverde Academy. They will find the best players regardless of where they are in the country.

Is there any youth club that will willingly send their best players out of the club? That’s lost revenue. Youth soccer is not about the kids. It’s about business and making money. The quicker we as parents figure that out the better.

There are lots of good players. Very few are special. A smaller number than that will ever have a shot at playing professionally.

Let the kids have fun. If you’re kid had that special talent they will be found. That’s how high level athletics work.

Mistake. Kid is going to find nothing different than he did at his Clube, except the MLS logo. OC is a complete joke. If you want to be developed, it’s jot
          One of the few
Places in the Us that you need to be.

Doesn’t Florida Fire have a player playing with the Professional team in Chicago?

Read the news. Plus postings on the website. Florida Fire has developed what could be the future face of United States soccer or the very least a Jamaican sensation.

Not sure about Jamaican sensation, but Fire has a player playing with Chicago Fire DA, yes. They had a player do the same a few years ago as well.

If OC rumor is true, that’s great for player from SWFL. Not trying to be bias, but OC DA has been very poor among MLS DA’s. Hopefully MV taking over will do some good. Good luck to him and family.

                    .
The Jamaican sensation has power, size and speed. Florida Fire developed the best player ever to come out of Florida.

Ahhhhhh, I remember hearing about the kid who's Daddy was on the board at Naples. Then he got him sent up to Chicago to try and give legitimacy to the Fire "partnership" when it first started. I also heard he doesnt even play, DA log all game minutes and he was getting the bare minimum

I would agree that he is the closest Naples have come to developing anybody though. Other Clubs in the area have 3 or 4 stories each similar to this one

Wrong again and again, but keep trying. Enjoy your summer and wherever your kid plays. No need to diminish a young man's hard work. He's representing SWFL, so this is good for our little pond regardless.

Are you kidding me? He’s an average player at best.

Or maybe your kid's just not that good? Fire have brought many on trial to their DA over the years and dont just take anyone. Nice try again.
