Eugene hasn't lost a single player and has gained top players due to being too far for defectors to Portland.
My picks:
#2 Academy
#3 & #4 GPS or Eugene
#5 ?
2. Thorns GDA
Big gap
3. GPS
4. FCP ECNL
Big gap
Everyone else
Next year, '03s will have to combine with '02s for GDA, so at least half of the '03s nation wide will go back to a non-GDA team. '00s will combine with '01s in GDA but they are both in combined age groups this year so not much difference. '99s will age out and, hopefully, be playing in college. GDA & ECNL will continue to be the top leagues and far ahead of OYSA. A few OYSA travel teams that play up in league & travel to top tourneys will continue to provide a good option as well.
Enjoy the beautiful game and the short time until your dd is off to college. It's over too fast.

GDA coming to Oregon & the country was a good thing for all. By further watering down elite teams and further spreading out elite players, college coaches can no longer rely mainly on Ecnl. This opens more doors not only to GDA, but also to USYSA/NPL players. Choices are good. Different strokes for different folks.

For what it's worth, the GPS 2003 boys' team won the premier division at PacNW.

And maybe FWRL isn't as strong as ECNL and GDA, but winning it gets the team to Hawaii. That sounds like more fun as a team than finishing at the bottom in ECNL and GDA.
Every team has its goals. I hope your DD's achieve theirs.
