My claims are pretty accurate. The CCSL will have large numbers this Spring. The defections will occur after the Spring season. Several clubs upset with CCSL. They did not want the town programs admitted. Cost is also high but it would not have tipped the balance if not for first problem. Premier clubs want a closed league just like ECNL and Academy. They want to create an exclusive league. CCSL will be gutted.

The people that formed CCSL were owners of the traditional CT premer clubs, and they created it for exactly the reason you say. That's why I'm shocked to see so many townie premiers this Spring, to be honest they are exactly what the clubs were trying to get away from.

So what exactly is a "premier" club in the first place? What are the lines of definition that distinguish one type of club from another?

Not really far off and grouped pretty accurately. Only one I feel is misplaced is Yankee. They have no boys at all. The girls teams they have that are good are 2003 and older. Younger teams don’t exist or are terrible. With nothing coming up through the ranks I don’t even think you can call this a club. It’s just a couple of girls teams.

Better than all other boys clubs in state and, probably better than most CFCU girls teams too.too bad they will never play each other to find out. Better than FSA girls by a lot though.

I’ve always thought Yankee should be able to scoop up the CFCU ECNL misses and combine them with a few STJ studs to make a few nice teams.
