As the poster above points out there are lots of keep dis playing there without any college aspirations so of course that’s the place to be.
You are choosing to ignore the luxury status symbol aspects of all this. Not saying it is not a quality club or a quality car but overindulgence is the often the name of the game..

Where are people getting that ECNL is more expensive than NEC NPL or GPS? They all cost around the same amount, all too much if you ask me.

Agree with much of above. Must assess the kids aspirations (and hopefully her abilities match her aspirations) for her soccer. If she aspires to play in a sought after program, often with RPIs <=40, then She needs exposure (and top level abilities). If the club team plays regularly in the national league and or major showcases with a great coach and great teammates she's fine where she is. If they only play local tournaments and not even in the top flight. She had better be unbelievable and kill it at their ID camp for BC/BU/UConn type interest. She will be limited to local schools if she doesn't at least attend larger regional showcases. That's fine to stay in a local club if she wants a smaller local D3 like Gordon or something.

NEP-NPL is much cheaper than ECNL both in fees and travel costs. NPL away games are in all in New England and can all be done without an overnight stay. ECNL has away games in Long Island NY, Buffalo NY, NJ, MD, etc. All those are overnight stays each time. ECNL also does many more far away showcases in which flights are involved. Of course ECNL is more expensive.
