Ridgefield made it to the semis of the state championship but had only four players on first team and one player on second team? Doesn’t seem right.

Nah, that team had 3 or 4 kids that made it work. There was a real drop off from top tier to lower tier.

As long as they're on the list, what does it matter what the rank is? The fact that PM isn't #1 pretty much invalidates the rankings anyway.

She made zero difference on that team. The junior ranked #2 single handedly won FCIAC for them and produced in states. What did the all american do?

While a valid point, it's irrelevant to what we're talking about. All conference and all state are based on HS performance. Where you're going to college doesn't matter.

in a 1 goal game nobody single handedly wins that game- thats a total team effort
honestly your goalie had as big an impact as anyone- she made 2 great saves
