                Ridgefield made it to the semis of the state championship but had only four players on first team and one player on second team? Doesn’t seem right.
                I like the way the FCIAC does it. Other conferences, like the SCC, give an all conference spot to each team. They also max out the all Conference players to only 3 per team regardless of who the team is and where they finish in the league. All State is based on All conference rankings, so it is a big deal when a team like Staples can get 6 players on all conference.

                    Agree about Ridgefield. How does it do so well without the talent numbers of other teams? It has to be the coaching. I also think that the Staples second team award winner deserved first team. And no I am not her parent.

                      RHS does have talent numbers and for whatever reason big fast athletes everywhere on the field- the coaching is good as well
                      So which staples kid are you swapping for KI? Or did you want SHS to get 7 on the 1 st team
