This is the funniest FAIL. It really is Trump's version of "I am not a crook" as Schiff said. Except Trump has Fox News to play it over and over while ignoring all the actual evidence.

Imagine if media at the time had focused on Nixon saying "I am not a crook" and claiming it's evidence of his innocence while ignoring the tapes.

Since the central facts of Trump's Military-Aid-For-Political-Dirt bribery scheme are now indisputable, Trump apologists have only three ways to fight back:

1. Deny that these events ever happened, despite Trump's own admission, evidence in the call notes released by the white house, statements by Mick Mulvaney and Rudy Colludy, and corroborating testimony under oath by multiple career diplomats. You're asking people to disbelieve their eyes and ears, and accept the word of a man who settled multiple fraud cases and has over 10,000 documented lies since taking office.

2. Admit that it happened, but claim it's not impeachable, despite these events exactly fitting the definition of bribery, and bribery specifically called out in the constitution as an impeachable offense. You're either claiming the definition of bribery is wrong or the constitution is wrong. How can anyone with a fully functioning brain say that?

3. Spew deflections and whataboutisms, including the thoroughly debunked conspiracy theory on the Bidens. This is the equivalent of being on trial for speeding 50 mph over the speed limit, and trying to convince the judge you should go free because you claim you saw somebody else going 1 mph over the speed limit. It wouldn't work in traffic court, and it won't work here.

So take your pick, Trumpists. Or you could simply choose to accept The Truth.
