OP is right. Looked at standings, Trinity clearly in 8th all alone based on conference standings. Bowdoin in 9th with less points, yet Bowdoin listed as 8th seed in tourney. Weird.

Last press release from season states the season is over following last game. Odd. Nescac tournament is important to teams regardless of seeding.

Makes absolutely no sense at all.

recruiting violations....Too many crappy FSA players on the roster!

In addition, losing to Colby automatically disqualifies a team this year. Trinity was the only team that lost to Colby, so they are out

What a terribly poor attempt at humor.

Trinity is in 8th place, Bowdoin in 9th. They’re not tied on points, so no tiebreaker is called for or needed. Anyone in the know care to try to explain this one?

Bet they wish they had MS back at the helm. Instead they have the sorority sisters running the show.

MS did a good job there for a long time. Certainly better than what is there now. The school is in a war zone, academics overrated and if the stories are true, the administrators don’t have a single backbone among all of them. This program will hit the skids faster than someone with IBS.

                            Question on the men's side

After going 2-13 in 2018 and now 1-13-1 in 2019 overall, including two back to back 0-10 seasons in the NESCAC, one would think that the AD would be looking to make a change at Trinity College in Hartford. If so, when do these things typically get announced? Can you start an informal national search before the current coach has left and the position officially opens up?

Depends on the contract. D3 schools aren’t going to fire someone under contract. They don’t care enough. If his contract is up, they can let him go, but my understanding is that is decided the year before the contract expires. So if he’s being let go, he already knows it. Other option is a one year. But in answer to your question, they won’t start a search until they’ve announced a change. I wouldn’t bet on a change either. NESCAC schools are usually pretty loyal.
