MSM lies .., let's punish them

It's not fake news. Just a mistake (they all are, and the fact that they always anti-Trump is just a coincidence).

MSM is lying to you... not watching them is not enough. Vote them and DNC down,

Fox? Pot meet kettle. If the media were punished, Fox would be first in line (except of course in this administration because Trump needs his state run TV).

So, just to be clear, you are holding up CNN as a bastion of accurate reporting?

        1) Journalism is a self-policing industry and legitimate ethical news organizations, (whether print, web, radio, or television) welcome corrections and will print retractions or issue apologies. ABC News apologized and issued a correction.

        2) Fox News has a more checkered past when it comes to apologizing and issuing corrections than most of the other larger outlets. I'm phrasing it that way to exclude the smaller pseudo-news sites like Breitbart and InfoWars that don't utilize commonly held journalistic practices. Fox generally has to be backed into a corner to apologize, correct, or retract; and sometimes even that doesn't help. The Pirro and Carlson controversies of last spring come to mind. But Fox does issue corrections when their disinformation gets too egregious for other outlets to continue to ignore or they experience a drop in ad revenues.

        3) There is no coincidence that many, if not most, news outlets are seen as anti-Trump. He delivers negative material on himself pretty much daily. To be viewed as pro-Trump, journalists would have to stop reporting on what the man says and does.

Those who claim unfair negative MSM coverage of Trump should consider whether those organizations should have to come up with 12,000 positive stories on Trump to balance out the 12,000 lies. If that were actually the standard, they would indeed have to stop reporting on him altogether.
