Not very good and they basically use the NEFC name to get kids to go there. Its basically the home to NEFC's third and fourth tier teams. PM isn't having too much success there. They are not included in the top tier NEFC teams.

Don't believe what you read from the haters, jilted former lovers.
It's the best program in the RI area by a mile. Players who live in that area would be crazy not to consider it. Players who live on the Cape would be better off with PM than Scorpions or Crusaders.

I think the south coast NEFC is just a money maker. It must have been a combo deal when BB left Scorps they had to take PM. They had no place to but PM so stick him way down south where he won't bother the top teams. Good for him though he can sit down there and make a bunch of money beats working for a living.

Miss the days when you could go to Scorps website and click on a player on the current Scorps U19s and get PM's high school profile complete with SAT scores and musical accomplishments. Attracted some strong interest from St. Rose until they figured out he is a male.

Gotta stop you there boys...from our daughter's time there, they have excellent technical training and have a well thought out developmental model for younger players. We were with them for 3 years and moved on because of the travel requirements and the pending move to NEP (which was announced but never came). It can be somewhat dysfunctional but their director gives 110% so you have to respect that. We moved to Nova, have 4 players from that team and have attracted others because of winning but also the atmosphere at NOVA. I'm obviously not paid by either but commenting on our daughter's experiences as well as our dealings with both clubs. Our Nova group will be in the mix for a promotion after the fall and it would be nice to play them come spring time. NEFC and NOVA are really the two best options and in the area and you need only look at the MAPLE club listings and records of all their teams to verify that. The two groups are about 25 - 30 min apart from one another. It's not just those teams either. That particular NEFC group made it to the final 8 for the state cup and the Nova U-15's made it to the semis. Can't go wrong with either option, you just have to identify what exactly it is you are looking for in your childs experience.

IMO - NEFC has become a Pyramid with kids who's parents who will make the drive hauling their kids around for a good team like any good club and many supporting levels below that. One stop shopping, something for everyone... And a goal of state if not world domination in soccer...

Maybe but it's not what asked. It was very specific to the southcoast and they are one of the two best. Arguably the best but you do have to see what fits your child's needs. NEFC is productive and has a big club feel, NOVA is productive and has a small club feel. To be honest, one other program in the area fits that bill as well, Blackwatch.

When you say you left to go to Nova that tells you the whole story. If NEFC SC was so good why leave because of travel, come on!!

The "travel" was referring to excessive tournament travel. Too much out of state stuff for our liking. I know WHY they do it but we're happy with 5 tournaments and traveling to Connecticut instead of VA, NY, or NC. When they announced NEP, we were still traveling to AAU basketball tournaments as well so it was too much (plug for Cape Cod Waves). It certainly wasn't referring to a 20 min drive from our house to training. Our daughter plays holding mid now and has continued to developed those initial foot skills she learned as a younger player with NEFC and your buddy. We're appreciative she's been with only two clubs which has given her a good perspective; both have provided complimentary training for her development.
