9-0 scores don't exist. You lack the expertise of the age group migration to understand that even 4-0 is a beat down. 9.0 is a fantasy score.

And I assure you, NEFC which is a good club with a strong girls program, will get good competition in this league. Mark my words.
Right....check the GDA scores from last season. NEFC 18/19 beat NYSC 11-0 and 13-0.

      NEGDL is U-12/13

18/19's are a totally different caliber and separation.

There were U14s getting blown out of the water by similar scores for the last two years, not that different in age. Traveling all that way for meaningless games that no one gets anything out of.

Going to have blowouts in ECNL, too.

Most of the games are competitive, much more than sticking in NPL.

ECNl blowouts of that magnitude are much more rare.

They happen in all leagues. All leagues have teams in over their heads. This is the result of a club putting all their teams in the league. The compete at some ages, not at the others. ECNL results last year had teams in some age groups toss a goose egg for the entire year. Other ages, they were .500.

Those NEFC results you pointed to were the result of a single player stat-padding. She put up a nine-spot in the first ten minutes of one game. Those type of results are an outlier as well.

OW and other clubs lost by 5+ at national events. Not exactly competitive games are they?
LISC U14s regularly lost last year by 6+ points and ended the year with some crazy high -GD. They're still in GDA and even now have U13s as part of a U13 regional experiment. Empire? same thing. Alby? Fortunately now the last two are out, and LISC plays in the Atlantic. But point being, there was a great deal of imbalance the last two years. Hopefully with the under-performers gone the gap from top to bottom gets narrowed

Again, there is imbalance in all leagues. At least a club like Empire was kicked out. LISC played some games competitively in some age groups (though in our age group they were terrible).

You've got a team like PDA Blue who goes undefeated and unchallenged all year long in some age groups. You've got teams like Continental completely overmatched in all age groups. It happens. There isn't enough talent to support the # of leagues, so the ALL suffer.

So, now you are comparing National events to regional leagues?

It's a reminder that while clubs and parents might think their kids GDA is the cat's meow, nationally they're not even competitive. NEFC and NYCFC were about the only clubs worth mentioning and the later is now gone.

Yes, all the teams in the Northeast didn't fare great on the National stage this year. in the national competitions. PDA continues to be the outlier there; they did pretty well at the younger ages.

I don't know of anyone who thinks they are the "cat's meow". All seem to choose the path that best fits what is available to them.

You must not spend much time on TS then. Plenty of unjustified bragging

You might want to check the actual GDA (U15, U18/19) scores from last year. NEFC put 7+ goals up regularly in the NE division. one game was 15-0. Not a fantasy--it's right there un the USSDA website

There is some. It's far outweighed by the anti-GDA crowd. I always find it curious why anyone would post anything negative about another club or league. Shows more insecurity than anything else.

Yes, that 15-0 game was a travesty. It's my understanding the game was a 9v11 game, and SB was stat padding. Already mentioned it.

Those are outliers. And, I saw similar in ECNL results.

Again, both leagues have some teams that should be there in some ages. Why is that hard to grasp?
