Even though Brookline won 3 games last year while Framingham won 9? And the reason is a foreign exchange student and some DAPers are joining Brookline?

Some academy players have left DAP and will now be playing for Brookline? If true, how many and from the Revs or Bolts?

Why do you think Framingham will be weaker? No one has argued that their graduation losses are huge compared to returning and incoming players. They won 9 last year, so seem to have a shot at winning as many or more this year.

1 Framingham - good last year but overshadowed by Needham and Weymouth; losses not as significant
2 Needham - the most publicized players graduated, but they had depth. If its an off year, that still could be double-digit wins
3 Weymouth - they reload and until we have evidence, hard to believe they'll fall far
4 Brookline - this is nothing to rave about. On the bubble re: tournament qualifying
5 Braintree - their touts are out there, but hardly convincing. They reached tourney on the last day last year, a season in which Brookline and newton north were well below their usual standard
6 Newton North - hope they improve from last year's struggle

Keep in mind that Dedham and Norwood opted out of playing some of these guys, which could affect standings if they're close. Will be interesting to see whether holes will be filled by challenges or easy wins.
Weymouth will be down this year and struggle to score against everyone they play. They have an exceptional gk, but the kids in front of him are not as strong as in the past. If the gk does not stand on his head they will not even be a tournament team.

That's just a dumb comment. Not as good as last year yes....not in the tournament? Come on.

Dedham and Norwood are using the new opt-out scheduling rule to not play Framingham, Needham and Weymouth this fall. Who are Framingham, Needham and Weymouth scheduling instead?

Boy have things gone down hill in a hurry at Newton North. Norwood and Dedham can't wait to play them!

Needham has Xaverian (2-13-1 last year), Newton South (1-10-3) and Lexington (6-4-5)
Framingham has Xaverian and a 2d game with Natick
Weymouth has Silver Lake, Marshfield, and BC

Framingham also has Brighton and Keefe Tech.

The relationship w/Brighton is that their coach was the FHS girls coach for quite a while. They are clearly better than Norwood or Milton.

Keefe Tech has a few good players, a little out of control...but always tough on their bandbox field (however, the game is at Bowditch...it was supposed to be played last year too but the hurricane cancelled it). Probably a tougher game than Dedham, although not sure by how much.

They are playing Newton North 4 times this season.

You do have to give Weymouth some major props for the schedule they make every year. They don't shy away from scheduling the big boys.
