It's supposed to be the MPS Bulldogs playing WU this weekend in the NEP "final"

...but PB has rounded up players from several OTHER MPS teams (Crusaders, Knights and NHPSA) to form a "U13 MPS Bulldogs team"

They are SO desperate to win this "final" (which was not earned) because if they win this, they advance to the NPL playoffs (Champions Cup) in Colorado.

The title of your thread says "MPS Cheating Again". Can you please tell us what rules have been broken? If you are unhappy that your kid has been dropped, calling PB a cheater is not the answer. The right thing for you to do is find a team that your kid is good enough to play on.

huh? This is a league final that's supposed to be between two specific teams that competed in the league all season long. So where are the players from the actual Bulldogs U13 team who played in this league all season long? Only two are playing in this final. Does that seem right to you?

First of all, I don't believe that's true. Just because you (an anonymous poster) writes it, doesn't make it true. Secondly, I ask again what rules have been broken if what you say is actually true. The word "cheater" means that rules have been broken. It sounds like you are saying what is happening (if true) is unethical not neccessarily a violation of any rules.

If no rules have not been broken then its not cheating. So indicate what rule has been broken. Mps has fielded gps teams for other tournamnets. They could be doing the same for this?

I would let this go. The OP is the parent of a kid getting dropped that isn't good enough for the team.

sheesh- sounds like you haven't noticed this is by design an anonymous board . You can believe what you want but this is true. And yes, it is breaking the rules when almost the entire U13 Bulldogs roster is not at the game on Sunday replaced by players from another (multiple) teams roster.

Yes, but that was a different team altogether. They did that for the VW and called it the MPS Messi team. This is not a tournament. This is a league final- it should be represented by the players of that team.

This is a NPL event. Npl has an open player card system that means larhe clubs like MPS, can draw on any player within the club system. Get used to it. Its the future.
