Social aspect being the key statement.Now if your kids unhappy at school or thinks she will make the NT team go for it.Your only a kid once ,enjoy it.Because you’ll be married and working like everybody else.

Agreed. If your kid can't seem to integrate into the school without soccer, they should definitely sacrifice so they can get that recognition from school soccer.

Parent's who pay $10K+ a year for club soccer, probably shouldn't set it aside. Yet they do.
Sports shouldn't influence HS social life. Yet they do.
I shouldn't drink beer, eat butternut donuts, or look at porn. Yet I do.

No one is promoting a particular set of values nor claiming to be superior (except maybe you). We are only recognizing that they exist, and have limited the appeal of DA.
