The coach from Shelton, JD, is notorious for being a scumbag . Always has been and always will be. Someone should report him to the Shelton director and or the heads of whatever league they are in. This is not the first time and not the last. Role model to our kids? Not a chance.

Have you looked at their records this season and over the last few years?
They seem to pile up a bunch of wins, conference championships and state championships....boy and girls programs.
Not saying they are Glastonbury or Farmington level programs, but they seem to do pretty well there year in and year out.
Can't say that at most high schools.

Perhaps you should investigate your facts before you spout them....
Shelton plays in the SCC.
Boys SCC soccer consists of 9 Class LL schools, 9 Class L schools and 1 Class M school.
What bunch of smaller schools are you talking about?

Wow... an All-State player, you must have been really good back in your day.
Just an FYI, High School Varsity philosophy is WIN a State Championship in all sports. I’m surprised that you never played for a Coach along your career that maybe had a “bad moment” or is just plain out passionate about the game, especially in soccer.
Funny thing is that this thread is intended to attack a coach who “made game about himself”, when in reality this thread is just about “YOU & YOUR PERSONAL OPINION” or you making it about yourself.
Nice job DORK!!! Please go sort your participation medals and try and find your All-State certificate, as it probably is a participation certificate! Soccer coaches are really held to a different standard, other sports coaches can yell and scream when they want, but if it’s a soccer coach voicing his or her dissatisfaction than there’s a problem!

OK. So if the coaches are going to take credit for all the winning, why do they immediately point fingers at the kids when they lose? Ever think it was your poor coaching that lost a game?
