Looks like you've got some "circular" math in your predictions. You have RHS and McMahon picking up 6 pts in their last 2 matches. Both play Warde. Yet you have Warde picking up 2 pts in the same matches.

        Fri Sat Line

        Ridgefield (-1) at Westhill
        New Canaan at Staples (-2.5)

        McMahon at Warde (-0.5)
        Darien at StJ (-1)

The McMahon Warde matchup would be pick-em, BUT there is a better than average chance (not to mention repeated historical precedent) that Warde will move the game last minute to the infamous cow-pasture grass field to slow McMahon down.

Sorry about that! I corrected the predictions to reflect that Warde will finish with 31 points.

Yes-- Darien beat them last year 2-0 when they weren't as strong and STJ wasn't on a losing streak

Also in Ludlowe/Warde game yesterday Ludlowe gk got sent off for mouthing off ref after he called the pk; backup had to come on to (unsuccessfully) cover for her. She's been carded before for similar behavior. Don't players understand that ref isn't going to change his mind no matter how bad the call is why get yourself thrown off for it

Not surprising - another vote for Staples. But Darien over St. Joseph?

Could have been just a yellow and the goalie would have to be out for the next play, in this case the PK.

I thought the goalie was carded for delay of game and taunting the shooter, not mouthing off to the ref. She was clapping her hands (like many goalies do to pump themselves up before PK) and ref told her to stop. Did she not stop or did she question the ref that resulted in a card?

Foul in the box was a good call. Card for goalie seemed unnecessarily harsh, unless in fact, she was "mouthing off." Either way, cost Ludlowe the game.

Triffiling call by the ref. There's no harm for a keeper to psych themselves up or the shooter down. Odds in penalty kicks are overwhelming in shooters favor. Bush league to card before the PK ... power trip by the ref
