Football costs a fortune to run, carrying rosters of 100, multiple coaches etc. and then it sets up title 9 equivalencies. Even more so at smaller state schools that are facing tight budgets and trying to keep tuition affordable for state residents.

these kids will go to football schools because thats part of their college experience
