    Oakwood?

    Hey,
We had the 04 and 05 girls from Oakwood play some friendlies over in the pnw.
They were well trained and played out from the back. Coach was a bit joysticky but
seemed ok. but overall, good teams and aggressive.
Is this club considered the top club in Conn for girls (and boys)? Noticed the DA for both.
Just curious. Hope you all had a good time.

Yeh we believe you found your way from pnw to TS CT to specifically ask the question. OW interns working overtime

Oakwood crowd is insufferable and they never disappoint.

They are a nice club but second tier here in CT. It's a small niche club located in the Northern part of the state and unfortunately a tough commute from the largest populated areas. To further complicate matters, the longstanding ECNL club in the state has a rich history of attracting the top talent and getting them placed into strong college programs.

Given their location and lack of numbers to their tryouts, Oakwood does a nice job and is an excellent pathway to D3 and our local D2 state universities.

As a club they are best known here for their hotdogs, a poorly ventilated indoor facility, producing players that are most profecient at passing backwards and for having some of the douchiest parents around. What is perhaps most impressive is their unwavering effort to proclaim greatness at all costs.

You be happy to know that there is a petition here to move Oakwood to the PNW on a permanent basis

90% of ow girls at 05 will be cast off by DA. OW creates a culture of paranoia. Crazy people

Devious leeches they are. Chewing thru nonsense and hyperbole and poof like that ... your kid is benched then out and a whole new wave of propaganda. New faces, rinse repeat. Toolbars at ow.

OW moms are cute and friendly. Worth a spin behind the veinless hot dog shack.

If this were legit, it would have said:

"We had the 04 and 05 girls from Oakwood play some friendlies over HERE in the pnw."

Also, they both aren't DA teams. The 04's yes, the 05's no. DA's youngest age group is currently 04. Nice try #CFC/FSA/Sportingdadmominternredchargeraggregatorguy.

Oakwood, where they'll suck the love for the game out of your kid.

The 2 Oakwood teams in Barcelona, 2 in Seattle, and 4 in Holland right now might disagree. Their faces on the loadds of recent Twitter and Facebook posts sure look pretty happy.

Thanks Dad. Nothing better than Dad and his twitter account.

Boys teams or girls? My bet is boys as the girls teams subsidize the boys teams so they can go on nice trips.

Oh...by the way, ecnl travel is expensive. Much better deals to Seattle, Barcelona and holland than Florida for a showcase. I can’t wait to see all those Oakwood scholarship offers at schools in Spain and holland. Not a lot of us college coaches on the sidelines out there. No wonder Oakwood only places kids and third tier d1 colleges, instate d2 colleges and lower academic d3 programs that never make an NCAA tournament.
