Ecnl is shaping out to be a better team to be on. Have not seen npl play.

Basedon what? I saw the composite fall team play and frankly one could not tell the difference between ecnl and npl. I have not seen the DA team play, but they are in 4th place, just above .500. Talent may be spread too thinly across 3 teams.

All the top players from last years 03 ECNL went DA. So pretty much the DA team is top team.

Really?! I don't recall seeing any mention of any 03 DA top players but I did just see a few from ecnl.

NPL is glorified req? ***? How about it is a group of kids with talent (the majority probably have enough talent to play ENCL/DA) but realistic parents who understand there is more to life than club soccer so they don’t buy into needing to spend every weekend traveling.

Yes and 03 DA beat 03 ECNL with both teams best players in the game.

SSS 03 beat Northeast NPL winner (PDA South 03) only 3-1 in the NPL semi-finals last year.

So I doubt that qualifies the Northeast NPL as a glorified rec league. Sure, it has some bad teams (FC Buck, FC Contintental, FC Boston), but so does New England NPL (paging Yankee United and Liverpool!).

Does anyone really think New England NPL will get better now that Oakwood's A team is in DA? Or that some of the Stars West NPLs left? Sounds like a lot of average teams are remaining for SSS to beat up on week in, week out.
