Is there anything official that GPS will have Trotter's? GPS tryouts are posted to be at the local school fields.

We'd like to know this before ACYS tryouts. Don't want to drive all over Orlando and guessing week after week where practice or games are going to be.

reality of situation is that ACYS is kinda out of luck. they will still use Braddock Park but those fields already are at capacity usage. so they will end up doing what GPS had to do and scatter all over the Orlando area with no real place to call home. if they are such a fabulous club and their coaching and training is above every other club, then follow them. if not, then go to other clubs try outs and see what shakes down from there..

Any churches with extra property to paint lines and plug in lights?

And there lies the problem, fields. I bet the field situation will be worse for ACYS then it was for GPS. I don't think the coaching is above other clubs especially with next season and quite possible some coaches might move on. So you are correct to tryout at different clubs, go tryout with DA or ECNL or even another regular club. See what's out there.

Did GPS announce it has Trotter’s Park? How will it get the word out (to non GPS/FCA/Maitland/Hunters Creek players) it is having tryouts beginning May 1st for US Club Soccer NPL teams?

A central location for club cohesiveness is EVERYTHING!

True for younger but when you get to older boys and girls take that off the table. Time to think what is in the best interest to get your higher level player to their goal. This is why you try out with clubs offering different options. Team cohesiveness at older age groups comes with competition not close field proximity.

Cohesiveness through competitive training and games at centralized, close fields can happen.

GPS Orlando Announce Trotters Park as Home Location
SECOND TRYOUTS ANNOUNCED FOR TUESDAY MAY 22ND - THURSDAY MAY 24TH
GPS Orlando is excited to announce that the club has secured the field contract for Trotters Park field complex which will see club operations move to the new location in August to commence the 2018/19 season.

The four-field complex, situated on Lee Road, will be used exclusively by GPS as the club has secured a multi-year agreement for the facility. The contract has helped GPS fulfill an ambition to secure a multi-field complex that they can call ‘home.’

Again bad news for ACYS, traveling all over Orlando for mom and pop fields to play on was a blow to GPS when they lost Trotters.
