Please stop dad. It's embarrassing. I don't want to live in the basement again either.

his personality is much better suited for college than coaching young girls. he knows the game and works hard.

MM,JN or even WM should get it. Yankee needs a boost it would be a perfect fit, the club and those three can definitely provide college material players.

Neither JN or WM have any college coaching credentials. MM has put in the time. despite his youth Besides it isn't the schools' job to give YU a boost. It's their job to find the most qualified candidate. If an AD is doing his job he's interviewing multiple candidates. If SHU is looking for D3 level players then sure YU players could fit the bill. If they want to build the program they need to aim much higher.

SHU should bring in a coach with proven track record in recruiting and winning. There are plenty of college coaches out there who would jump at this opportunity. Looking at the entire soccer program over past couple years, neither men or women have been successful.

SHU is one of many schools that don't put much of an effort into sports. It's just kind of there for the sake of being there. It would be a good stepping stone for an assistant coach like MM, but a young coach aspiring for high level career might be better off being an AC at a truly top program.

That’s actually incorrect. WM was very successful as the Wesconn men’s coach for years and years. Left to become a HS AD I believe and has only been coaching HS for the last few years. Good coach.

BSC is crap, awefull coaches , CFC has one tier all others mediocre.

Ill give Yankee much credit and respect..MM, JN, and Wm know what they are doing. As small as the club is the teams are above par floating much closer to the higher tier of CFC than away from them like BSC. My D had a challenging experience MM is not for soft crybabies, girls gotta step up. Town soccer is available to all if not, YU is for girls that wanna play soccer in college so SHU is the perfect spot for the Mones.. the club close in proximity and who knows CT better than those guys ...NO ONE! Those guys will make SHU strong and competitive, the turnaround will be swift.

I pray they get in, maybe WM has a little clout with the AD since there's a click ongoing with NDF.

Good luck Yu and the Mones, ill be at the games.

YU had one D1 placement last year that is actually playing. The few others playing are all so-so D3 programs. Several players listed as "recruited" weren't even on their college rosters. Like someone said if SHU wants that kind of player they're a dime a dozen at YU, BS even CFC or FSA NPL players. If they want better they need someone who can scout and recruit better talent.

I agree MM isn't for young girls but does work hard, which is why he's managed to move up a bit in the college circuit. If he lands the gig good for him.

MM won’t even get an interview at SHU even with his Dad at NDF.

Doubt he would even apply. Doing well at Brown and making good money I’m sure.

College coaching isn't about $ but progressing up the ladders - assistant, head assistant, low level program head coach, higher level head coach etc. Aspirational assistants don't stay assistants for long. Whether or not he'd get a sniff is doubtful however. Many more coaches out there with more experience to qualify for a HC job
