    Ub 2019-2020

So last year UB snuck up on the top tier of Division II during a rebuilding year to win the National Championship, this year is going to be much tougher but should be fun to watch as the team returns some top talent including POY and their recruiting was very strong. #UBUKNOW!

As long as they can keep bringing in foreigners who have never seen Bridgeport and who don’t really know much about the academics and the fact that it is d2, they will be in it every year. That and no one gets hammered and head butts a teammate

Anyone who might be glad a local school won a national championship?

Sure they do dummy. Their kids picked a D3 school because they have the academic chops to attend Mit, or Williams, Tufts, Middlebury, Trinity, Oberlin, Swarthmore, Tufts, John Hopkins or a host of other schools to become doctors, lawyers and engineers. Many correctly decided against going to a Division 1 or 2 school with an 80 percent acceptance rate so they can say they played at Florida, Ole Miss, UConn or Rhode Island lol.

D1, D2, D3 for the American kid it’s a disadvantage. Colleges fail the American kids as most bring in older International students to leverage their program. Southern did it in 90’s with men’s program, UB does it with Girls and Boys.

Men’s team is terrible. Haven’t qualified for a playoff in last 4 years in a horrible conference.

We dont care either. It's soccer .... like all of you in other divisions, we tolerate this ugly game only when are kids are active participants or an American team is in the World Cup .... other than that .... it's soccer.

Yes, every kid that plays at D3 schools attends only the ones you mention to become doctors, lawyers and engineers, generalize much?

And no one from the D1 schools you mentioned ever goes on to become any of the professions you listed? Soccer at all of those D3 schools is awful, Williams included.

versus many of the bottom dwelling D1 programs like Iona, Sacred Heart and Wagner?

you guys love the smoke and mirrors of D1 this or D3 that. Just a bunch of wanna be coaches trying to preach to their greatest to the lowly state of Connecticut. You have contributed to an environment that is nothing about soccer players and everything about ego, cause really, who gives a f$#k what college they go to if their soccer career ends there? Or in many cases, never really starts because they went to a school based on "division" and not whether or not it fit them and their level. Keep bragging about your club and your D1 lists, whatever makes you feel good in the moment. Can't wait to see your stats on final college careers and how that D1 lifestyle turned out for them.
