And yet cfc has a much better stick rate than Fsa and Oakwood. Look at the kids who are getting minutes and don’t quit. Most are cfc kids. Yankee has like 1 or 2 kids in each graduating class that are still on a team. None are making an impact at any level.

How is that specifically a reflection of the club?

Better customer satisfaction (stays with club) and highest quantity of product (most girls playing college soccer).

It's very much a reflection of the club. It shows that a club does a good job helping get players ready for college ball, but also that they help players target the right level. Just getting kids on rosters shouldn't be a club's only goal but helping them find success in college. Also, clubs develop reputations for success (or not). if they keep sending ill prepared players, coaches will stop taking their calls

Yeah that’s the reason they don’t show up. Hahaha. Nothing to do with proms and parties and vacations and skip days. U18 at every club has the issue. At least at CFC, it sounds like they have enough players to get something out of it. At FSA, we are lucky to get 6 kids to a U18 practice. Have some accountability.

I’m a CFC parent who has a younger kid and had an older one. Sounds like you’re making excuses for your kid being lazy. My kid was one of only 2-3 kids that would show up to the optional extra day of training from the U18’s. On team days, she was glad to have a number of players there.

Senior year the ones who aren't playing in college and/or aren't very serious will be the ones that don't show up in the spring. So with FSA what you say makes sense. Girls being social animals the whole thing can become self fulfilling too - a few start to skip, then others see that their teammates and possibly even coaches don't care, so why bother?

Yeah, and those who don't show up are still paying 4 grand for the privilege of being rostered on an NPL ... errrr ... "ECNL" team.

Now try to answer the question this time...

How is that a reflection on the club? Isn't that a reflection of the individual?

Not the poster but customer satisfaction stems from perceived value - are players improving? Playing good competition? Have decent enough win/loss records? Getting spots on desired college teams? It's very much club driven. Not sure why you think otherwise.

Die hards will tell you that's not important, but of course that matters. But in terms of what a club delivers what the other poster listed tends to be the top priorities.

I don't think otherwise, that's been my point all along and why I think college commit lists, won/loss records and other such nonsense to try to place one club above another is mostly nonsense.
