There's two kinds of soccer people. Those that know it's a joke and those that are the joke.

In many ways Oregon Soccer is more evolved than many other places.\

FWIW I kind of like Beaverton Cup. I like the grass fields at the main venue (don't remember the name). Seems like usually I end up in a competitive bracket. Be it my team or the teams my kids play for. Their is a turf pitch there that is in pretty bad shape. And I do recall playing a venue where their was a rather large green utility box cover grass height and they had to a cone on it. Can you imagine slide tackling into it.... ouch!

Seem to recall no vendor food, foot tents, food trucks, that kind of thing. Maybe a weak snack shack.

Weather is going to be nice enough, I kinda wish I was there...

The gas station across the street from Tualatin hills puts on a mean taquito. Hot off the rollers. They put them out at 4am so they get nice and hot. Wash down with a cold Busch Light out of the cold case. They have pepto in case you have weak constitution. That a nice lunch date spot.

The sad thing about this thread is it probably originated with a parent of a younger or out of area kid. And all you clown responders are doing is showing that person how ignorant and low class some Oregon soccer parents are. The power of “unregistered” is sure liberating, isn’t it? It frees you up to crawl out from under your rock and show the swamp creature side you usually have to hide.
