BM left the program, he wasn’t fired.

U13 and U14 DA only went away because the Seattle clubs left. And Oregon isn’t strong enough to have their own program. The Oregon clubs and coaches are good enough to play in a real national league. They will join BECNL like the Washington teams.

BM was let go. Call it fired or whatever either way he DID NOT leave because he wanted to. He loves the free trips to Hawaii why would he leave that job. Bottom line is the big dogs cut him at the knees for offering Refcon IV spots if they come to his club.

BM should become a politician. He has Barrack Obama type skills.

DA players do not do ODP. They have US Soccer scouts at games . The DA is a direct route to the national team.

GDA is a direct route to PCC intramural team - nothing more.

It's a waste of money. Most kids at my daughter's age group from Oregon chose not to go because it's a joke.

It is pretty simple. A TA club got mad that BM was inviting their players to ODP. Which is ironic, because the TImbers run ODP but their coaches don’t coach in it. BM knee where to find there players and used there program to do it. Suckers. The club complained and the Timbers ODP manager got rid of him.

Here is the big news.

Timbers didn't like the little DA. Took teams away from their OYSA leagues. Now that the OR and WA clubs all left the US DA at these ages they are back in OYSA in Oregon or Boys ECNL in WA and can do ODP. That means league fees and ODP tryout fees.

It is pretty simple. A TA club got mad that BM was inviting their players to ODP. Which is ironic, because the TImbers run ODP but their coaches don’t coach in it. And betraying his obligations to the ODP program to do it.

Even in the murky ethical swamp of club soccer, where lots of dubious stuff is winked at, what BM did was a straight red card. This was like a lawyer being disbarred--a fate reserved for only the slimiest and sleaziest of crooks.

Perhaps he should try developing his own players? Right now, his name is mud in Oregon youth soccer. Even guys like MJ and Victor Garcette have better reputations at this point.

There’s actual documentation my young PadWan. Relax though. We all know who he is now. Can’t wait for him to show up to first DOC meeting. I wonder if he shows up? Could you imagine BM, JS and MJ starting their own club? They would be the best recruiting team in the area...and they would kill it at any used car lot on 82nd Ave near Madison High school.
