I can tell you what happened my family left the Club last year. JB their president and her husband MB ran the Club to the ground. Now they are trying to run EO & RC out so that SC & MB can run the Club with no oversight. WC Soccer Club does not have a proper board it’s a made up Board. If the members were smart they would vote in a real board and ask to see the books. The real Board at WC is the WCAA. It’s sad to see what’s happening at WC. And I agree WC is becoming a Summer Camp Club.

Its sad that there are a few people on here trying to legitimately rationalize the way out of WCSC's problems. The club wasn't exactly a world-beater even before the recent downturn. We know it sucks to see a decent little local club go down the poop-chute, but really guys get it together. Go change it in person or just move to FL Premier, Spirit, or TBU like everyone else,

MB - Can you share your secret on getting every player on your U19 Girls a scholarship offer? You took over that team so late in the season. How did you secure all those offers so quickly?

Has anyone ever tried to reach out and speak to JB or any of the board members? everyone complains outside but will not share their displeasure with the soccer board and give them a chance to fix it. Send email to the soccer board and ask to join their meeting and express your concern as a paid community member and see what they say. JB is not the only board member so I don't understand why everyone blames her and MB. They may be a part of the problem but coming out here and pointing blame is not the right way to make changes. If you truly care about the club, do something about it and express it to the board or WCAA.

Yes. Know many others as well. You hit a brick wall. Ideally, you are absolutely correct. It should work that way, but it doesn't. The board gets you nowhere. It is just so sad to see what was once a great club get run into the ground. If you can change things, get JB and MB to be open to any views other than their own, I'm game. The chances are slim.
