I'm glad my kid is wrapping up youth soccer.

What a mess all of this is.

First of all, I can tell you that at Oakwood families are agonizing on whether or not to stay in the DA. It's going "ok" nationally but pretty poorly in the Northeast.

Fury is in a very tough spot. They are in a world of hurt. Last year they tried to balance both DA and ECNL and were basically an embarrassment in both. Having vacated the Albertson ECNL spot, SUSA was moved into the ECNL. SUSA has always been a well run club and is a big draw for Long Island kids. They also have East Meadow.

Are kids from New Haven county going to commute to Long Island to be part of league that in likelihood won't even exist in 24 months? It's 1000 times easier to go up to Portland if you want that experience.

Desperation move on that part of Fury and a marketing move by the Brazilian.

This entire scheme is hair brained at best. Good luck to anyone who falls for it.

No they don't. They have to try out like any other player would and most Ginga players are not DA material. More importantly, no CT player in their right mind would go to Long Island 4-5 days a week. If they have the goods they do OW, trek down down to NYCFC (soon to be gone) and NYSC, or OW Or NEFC (if they're that nuts). Meaningless.

I wouldn't go to LI even if it were free. There's dedication and then there's insanity.

its most likely GAMES ONLY. train with ginga during the week play with Fury on the weekends.

does'nt DA have rules against players playing in other leagues during the season?? so they cant play with ginga in the NPL or CCSL. but who is going to check anyways.

Nothing breeds success like teams that don't train together!

Everson should stick to running a nice local club and summer soccer. It's clear that zero thought was put into this.

This is meaningless. Albertson is about to give Paul Riley the boot out so he will only have FC fury. SUSA and Eastbound meadow are pulling all their players Fury FC and Albertson FC are all about to crash and burn.
