What is the ECNL Regional League?

Kind of pre-ECNL, or the case of the Northeast their already existent NPL teams. Note the "prepare girls for ECNL in the future. Sounds like it's just another name for the long rumored ECNL 2.

Every ECNL club in the northeast region will have two ECNL teams with the stronger team playing in ECNL, the weaker team in the ECNL regional league. More watering down. Goodbye to Northeast NPL. This is getting out of hand.

Why goodbye to Northeast NPL? This sounds like exactly the same thing just with a different name.

If it also comes with a new bigger price tag - then yes. out of hand.

So do FC Stars and PDA get to keep two ECNL teams and have a third team in ECNL RL while everyone else gets one ECNL team and one ECNL RL team?

They probably get two teams each in the regional league.

Seems like regionally phased approach (TX previously, now NE) for ECNL clubs to bring teams out of NPL and into ECNL. while some will object and claim its a money grab, my feeling is this seems inevitable from a business standpoint. What business doesn't want more control better margins, and brand extension

Why is it a money grab? These will be the NE NPL teams so will they start charging those families more for this?

It shouldn't be any change to families. I was thinking it saves ECNL clubs money.
assumptions are that NPL is independent of ECNL, and that ECNL clubs own and control ECNL. Therefore clubs shifting league dues to ECNL is paying themselves

For the NE its just a rebranding of the NPL teams. No big changes for families but you can be sure NPL isn't happy

Exactly. Hence the real reason why they have gone all-in with ECNL. Don't let the noise distract you. And, I don't blame them one bit, but let's just get it out in the open.

The only money grab would be if other regions that don't have NPL (or othe B league) teams start adding more teams. In the NE its just a new patch kn the sleeves of current players

I want to get my little Mia involved in pre-pre-ecnl. She's 4 years old. Is that possible?
