Default ECNL for Philadelphia Ukrainian National SC??

Does anyone know if the Philadelphia Ukrainian National SC will be admitted to ECNL anytime soon?

I think the way the ECNL works is you have to kick the leaderships' rings and do a "job" for them. If you continue to prove your worth, you will eventually be given consideration.

Guys have a DA team, right? Would they be eligible for ECNL too? They have enough players to field both don't they? The girls are still coming along for ECNL.

They do not have a DA. The DA was for the U12 Boys only which US Soccer no longer supports. On the boys side they seem committed to the USYS Club v Club model so they probably aren't looking at the boys ECNL.

On the girls side, it could be possible but not likely.
You have to think internally they are not interested in supporting the girls as much as the boys or else they would have put the girls in the USYS Club v Club league. They would also have to build or rent 2 additional turf fields which sends the tuition prices up for the entire club. They also don't have the coaching resources but thats minor because coaches grow on trees.

Ideally, the best way for them to introduce ECNL into their club would be via a full blown merger or alliance and not an affiliation where one club calls the shots.

Ukrainian Nationals Rush
Ukrainian Nationals Warrington
Ukrainian Nationals FC Bucks

This would provide kids and needed infrastructure.

However,

ECNL would be better served giving a team to the Lehigh Valley / Reading area or maybe a club like West-Mont.

Lehigh Valley/Reading/Lancaster would make sense for ECNL. Not West-Mont. FC Bucks already has ECNL, so zero shot for Ukrainian Nationals.

Penn Fusion has an ECNL for guys now too, right? FC Continental has an ECNL for girls. And Bucks are both guys and girls, right?
So I agree somewhere out western PA would be better or by the Poconos for a guys and girls ECNL league.

PDA won't let the Poconos or Lehigh Valley get ECNL, as they are already getting the better players in that area. Central PA/Reading/Harrisburg does not have ECNL and there aren't any clubs there to shut them out.

Default Ecnl

Any chance FC Bucks loses its ECNL membership? They arenít what they used to be and have since become a pretty poorly run club.

Doubtful that FC Bucks gets the plug pulled on ECNL unless CRUSA wants it to go away.
