Those 4 plus Beachside, Oakwood, Seacoast, Bolts. Sounds like 8 clubs in NE with 2 teams each, 16 total for 9v9. Rest assured parents with kids that love soccer will get their boys into those programs at an early age.

Bingo! Then at U13 the Revs, Bolts and Seacoast will take all the best players from all the baby-DAP teams.

Stars Boys' staff is very, very good. Maybe the best around. I don't see the program suffering or taking the slightest bit moving forward.

For families whose sons are multi-sport athletes and want to play the normal schedule of games, they will seek out clubs like Western and Stars.

You know the Jr DAP only play 24 games a year??? Friendlies included!

We are talking about next year's U12 DAP, which will be pulled primarily (but not entirely) from current U11s. To the extent that one uses match results as a measure, its pretty clear that the current Stars U11 team is one of the strongest in MA at their age level.

Actually, those NEP teams will be their C teams, since each club will have two teams in U12 DAP. There will be some drop off in quality in the top NEP brackets at the 2004 level. That said, I believe Seacoast (maybe Bolts, as well?) were already pulling two teams out of NEP at the U12 level to place in the Pre-Academy league. So their U12 NEP teams are their C teams even this year.

Looks like BU11 Central United. Not a surprise that they are good--coached by AC, who is one of the better boys' coaches around.

Just be careful these U12 DAP players (and moreso their parents) don't get too over enthusiastic about being in the program. The Connecticut teams aside, the following year those 12 teams of boys will be cut down to 3 teams at U13 DAP. Yes, these U13 teams may have large rosters, but then you may also have additional kids from clubs like Stars coming into the system. Many DAP careers will be fairly shortlived, so be sure to get the most out of it and enjoy while you can.

With the apparent rush for parents to get their kids into a DAP program, won't there be new players added to the Seacoast and Bolts rosters? If new and better players bump many of the current NEP A and B players down to C then the drop off in NEP will be negated. I am guessing that there will be an open try out for these DAP teams?

This is true for Seacoast. Not sure about Bolts.

Same Pyramid scheme happens in club Hockey . Parents rush to the few big name clubs and then the b , c and d teams pay for the academy team. Parents and kids get to wear the nice clubs jerseys and actually think their kids are good .

                            Good luck parents !

Which is pretty much what happens now. Not really much of a change from the current situation. Quality of play at u12 will be the same, just a different marketing spin.

Parents with kids on the academy teams pay they own way. Believe me I know! Not sure why people are saying the lower levels pay for the academy teams?
