GPS & Seacoast weren't in 'merger' mode, just some cross-training/collaboration discussions but sounds like egos got in the way.
24 kids make one new Academy team of 03's. Includes all Valeo and Seacoast current squad elite 03's.
The 02s and 01s have a harder path. They need to place into the U15/16 bucket with an existing 28 squad of 02s and 01s. But getting into an existing squad of the Revs 02 01s would be near impossible.
Staying together for the teammates and coaches provides benefits and confidence.
