AFC is big on scamming all, by getting your money with little in return. Reason why they switch their uniforms every two years.
And if a club doesn't deliver on what people are looking for they go elsewhere. Free market.

My kid was on a NPL team and they didn't practice three times a week. Academica did offer a extra day of practice in the spring for six weeks. They should work harder however on making up rain days. Uniform issue is standard for any club. AFC trains well and has solid coaches. It costs 1800-1900 versus 3000 at FSA? Some excellent players come out of AFC. Very true however that not anywhere close to the amount coming out of the big three clubs. They don't have nearly as many kids either though. If your kid was committed to working hard enough outside of premier this club would provide enough of a platform for them to go on to the college level and be successful. Scamming people? Sounds like a disgruntled parent.

Spend 15 minutes on google looking at college rosters. Not easy to make the jump from small premier. Its can be done but typically its the Unicorns.
