    Northeast ECNL national events

Just looking at the website and what teams from our region will be fighting for a national championship. The following clubs have placed teams in the Top 32 in the country.

    PDA has 5
    Boston Breakers have 4
Stars of Mass and Penn Fusion have 3 each
    CFC have 2
Match Fit, FC Bucks, WNY and Wotld Class each have 1

Nobody wants to see So Cal Blues U15's or 16's. they look to be the Golden State Warriors of youth soccer

So all this fussing about who is better. Don't see FSA on that list. How many of those teams are even going to Chicago.

Sit down and be humble! Congrats to those teams! It's great for Ct soccer as a whole. I do hope that your daughter is part of one of those squads???? FSA has 2 teams going also which is also good for Ct

Listen to Kendrick Lamar and use his words, please!

Why would you not want to play the best team(s)?

The ECNL method of Playoff determination is a joke. Counting showcase games is nonsense.

So Cal Blues 16/15 are exactly what is wrong with the game at present. Play with a sweeper, man mark opposing forwards and kick it long for athletes to chase. Very successful at Youth lvel played watered down competition, not so much further down the line.

What makes it so sad is they have the player s to actually put a really high level brand of soccer out there AND win, yet they choose not to. These teams that have the depth and resources to do it better, really should.

And this is why US Soccer has stepped in with the Academy. It's amazing we have to wrestle the game away from money hungry clubs and the parents who know no better.

It's a building year. Besides, we're still stealing away players who signed for Ow academy. Wait for the real rosters later this summer.

Then they should have done an academy for the girls when the boy's da was created. They are not completely innocent in the creation of this monster.

Yes the DA will fix the women's game just like they fixed the men's. FSA is stealing CFC NPL girls good way to get better and piss off your current NPL players. OW will not lose 1 player of value to FSA.

How do you know so much about So Cal Blues?

You're joking right? The same people that will be overseeing the academy were fired from multiple college positions. Hardly the experts on development. They also ran the ODP program into the ground. The ECNL was formed because I'd Soccer didn't have a clue how to run anything and did nothing for the betterment of the game. They have huge coffers and have given nothing back. Now they see a chance for a money grab and are going for it after everyone else did the heavy lifting. It's the American way. If you can't do it yourself, wait until someone else does, and then try to steal it. I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

The funniest thing is that most of the people with Us Soccer played for the ECNL clubs and were coaches and taught by the very people they will be competing against. Me? I'd rather go with the original than a carbon copy.

Haven't seen them play but have heard the same thing. However, playing devils advocate here, if they are playing the wrong way, shouldn't it have been fairly easy to expose them and beat them? There is no one way to play. You have to play according to your strengths. They're clearly doing something right if their 15 and 16's are a combined 40-0-0.

People who complain about the wrong way to play usually are people that lose all the time.

First and foremost you qualify for nationals based on regular season league standings.
Showcase points are only for wildcard qualification.
                        Teams will randomly be seeded.

Just about everyone makes Nationals. We can turn that off before it starts

Really shows how much you know. The Champions League (top 32) in the ECNL battle in the Champions League for a national championship. Other teams play in North American Cup (33-48) and in a Showcase.

So....no. Wrong answer. Not everyone competes for a national championship.
GOTTA....Love the haters...you are so, so jealous of success of others.

That's still just under half. Kind of like making state playoffs
