Interesting point. The Applied List was posted last year weeks before the Accepted List came. This year, there was no Applied List - they just came out with the Accepted List. Now we see why.

5 teams (u15G) does not a league make. Given the failure to generate sufficient interest, can teams bail without penalty?

Where will these teams bail to? Nothing else out there ,,it's the
Same BS teams, Wellington will win this elite group! Followed by Martin academy, then the great FC/gardens mess, they will then play each other in all the same local tournaments which will include the drunk Wellington parents getting thrown off the field! It's either sfysl, or DA. Nothing worth while in between , just my 2 cents.

And I'm guessing no comment from FSPL Administration or Dale the Douche about how he intends to have a "league" with five teams. Hopefully its not too late to try to apply for another league!

Before blowing a gasket, check the website to see if the official list has been posted, which has not. I lot of the time these lists are updated before posting. Either way, call them tomorrow at 863.268.8220.

There will be more teams added from the "applications at large" group - teams that did not make it to state cup final 16. I think the question everyone is asking is about quality. What is the quality of this league? Will it be high level or low level?

The 71 teams showing are the Round of 16 teams from last year at State Cup this applied/accepted the invitation. With 11 age groups listed, that's a potential 176 Round of 16 teams. 71 joining is a pathetic showing.

So under your assumption there will be 105 State cup teams playing in another league? Impossible. Once the list is posted officially on the FSPL site the reality will be clear.

...and that reality is that FYSA totally killed FSPL, and now it is populated with a few good teams and a bunch of rec teams.

It has already happened in the U18 group where Heartland SC, with ZERO participation in State Cup, Commissioner's Cup, or President's Cup is in FSPL.
