Is FSA Boys trying to become part of the academy in the future?

They'd love to get it; maybe they get the youngest age groups. But having boys ECNL currently would hurt them in USSF's eyes, on top of it being what 20-25 minute away from Portland? Also, clubs can make far more money with ECNL than DA and both organizations would make them chose one or the other. Only a few mega clubs have both - for now. It's likely they'll have to chose in the near future as well.

    If USSF granted full status to FSA it proves they're incompetent and DA is only about market share and money. It wouldn't be about developing players, just lining more pockets
    Doesn't sound like BS is having any issues charging the absolute top dollar for DA, so why would FSA or anyone else? It's not like USSF does anything they say they will.

        Sure. Just like BS has enough cash to build their now defunct new facility? FSA can make far more money doing ECNL than DA and they know it There;s more teams and no pressure from USSF to lower fees

          Sorry I agree with you ... meant to say that the can't make their mortgage if they went DAP because of the reasons you state
