SCP wouldn't be able to keep it within 7 goals against CFCU. Do they need to play for you to understand that?

Well that is kind of the idea isn't it? And which CFCU are you talking about? ECNL, of course they would be heavily favored to win, but CFCU NPL probably loses against other CT regional teams. CFCU badge doesn't mean you are invincible. Games still have to be played. That is, after all, the idea of competition.

Maybe if teams actually played each other even for scrimmages or friendlies you might have a leg to stand on. They don't though. It is a frustrating dynamic in CT for sure, where ignorant people think CFC and FSA are the only quality teams.

Not the OP but that's a pretty clueless response. ECNL teams already push the envelope with a 3 to 2 ratio during the busy spring season. Adding anything else is simply begging for injury.

I agree with the prior poster that the Cup is a ton of fun but just not practical for the kids who grind it out on these top teams.

"Grind", "top"? Clearly you are not FSA parent.
