That young it depends on what your other options are relative to going with a premier club - if your local travel is pretty good the you could wait another year and supplement with camps and trainings at premier clubs (good way to check a club out, give your player a year to mature and see how into they really are). But if your town options stink then find a good club with good coaching, not too much travel.
If by AC you mean AC CT? Newer club but growing fast, has some good older teams. Academica? Been around a long time and has a few good state level teams; better players team move to the big name clubs.

Some kids still play in Travel
Real coaches. No daddy.
Winter league. Train in Newtown year round.
