Yes players have been called already, plenty of tryouts left this week. PSG, CSU/Sunprine, Parkland, Ft Lauderdale, Boca,etc, find a coach and team you like and let the players play.

Girls that DC did not accept for his team at WPU last year left to Weston and made the premier team. How did not one of his girls make any team at Weston this year. They have tied and beat the pre academy team this year. Makes absolutely no sense other than him sticking his nose and telling Weston not to take any. Hmmm????

The mayors office needs more people to speak up. You can call anonymously. It involves their city and this whole thing with the bylaws being used and not used is concerning.

As a former board member I will tell you that that is not true. In 2011-2012 and 2015-2016 wpu only applied for the US Boys Academy and everyone already knows the rest of the story. Wpu was a great club but destroyed by BT and his friend HR. After seen the tryouts there is not longer Girls teams and Boys teams are the worst ever. Wpu will have maybe 15 teams tops. Sad end to a great institution who used to be one of the top soccer clubs in the state.
Where is DC defending the club and the rest of the old timers? Afraid of BT? I guess everyone is afraid of him. Who knows why

DC ruined the girls side. Has kept inept coaches on the boys side. This is to be to develop the kids. He blames the players to their face, does he not realize he doesn’t train well. Parents are going to mayors office of Pembroke Pines and also the school he works as a coach at.

Members can call a meeting and they have to do it. Call the mayor and person in charge of parks at city. Let them know a meeting is being called and the board is not responding. They will send a city person and they will have to meet

Tuffin Removed from WPU Board!!!

Finally!!! Tuffin booted out of the board last night. His term had expired, and he pretended to go on like a king! The chosen 2: Lozada and Echemendia also removed!

WPU By-Laws:

ARTICLE 4

Membership

Section 1. Membership in the club is by formal affiliation, through player registration or individual participation, while maintaining good standing. Membership is in three categories:

(a) Voting Member is defined as a parent or legal guardian of a registered WPU player, who is current with club fees, fundraising requirements of WPU and complying with these Bylaws. Voting Member shall be entitled to one (1) vote per registered player on each matter submitted to a vote of the members.
(b) Non-Voting Member is defined as a volunteer or coach who does not have any child in a Club team. Non-voting members will not be allowed to vote in matters submitted to the members, or participate as a BOD. Non-Voting Members are allowed to participate as members at committee level functions, as determined by these Bylaws.
(c) WPU Player is defined as any registered player in the current FYSA seasonal year, or any registered player in an approved affiliated league(s). Players are Non-Voting Members.
