OP here. Just watched one of mine graduate college who took let's say "an alternative path." Definitely some education snobs rolled their eyes at the school choice but it was 150% the right place and path for them. Couldn't be happier or more proud. Accept your kids for they are, not who you want them to be. I wish I had figured it out earlier to save a lot of aggravation.
