    bolts price out of control

bolts = price out of control - and as prices go up quality of teams and coaches go down

$4700 for their DA team and get coached by DC, if his ban from us soccer is over that is. Think of what that $4700 could really buy you

Your kid pays for the Bolts? Should have worked harder to overcome your genes.

I have to ask, what in the world does $5,000 get you?

What was the fee last year?

No DA competition if u don’t make revs. Seacoast and Oakwood are too far away for most. However coaching is subpar and some coaches are A-wholes -like DC and Marco K.

Curious if that includes anything other than just coaching? If it includes even some travel (like group travel to league games for the year) then it isn't that bad. If it's just coaching then yeah that's way out of whack. So much for the USSF mandate for clubs to keep their fees as low as they can

They nickel and dime you all year long. Travel costs? Check. Forced fundraising that they send out invoices for? Check. Re-purchasing kits because New Balance quality sucks and things fall apart? Check. Summer camp? Check.

10k + by the time you are done....per year...for completely joyless soccer that some irresponsible adult has foisted on you and your prodigy. Go kick in a parking lot.

Forced Fundraising - If your kid doesn't raise the money then yes...this is just another fee because they put it in your contract that you are responsible for it. Don't all clubs do this? I think we had to do two $300 fundraisers.

Travel - How do you avoid this?

Re-Purchasing Kits - This was a scam this year. The full kit isn't cheap either. I think it was $500.

                      New Balance - Don't use it...We don't.

Summer Camp - Not mandatory but emphasis is put on it. This year was a sweltering evening camp in Acton that was 10 days.

If you are paying full price/initial offer contract price for club soccer you are being fleeced. Negotiate people, these clubs need us more than we need them.

If you can’t afford it to play somewhere else. Problem solved.
