Soccer clubs like all other small businesses will qualify for the Paycheck Protection Loan, so if they keep 75% of their payroll intact, they can borrow 2.5 times of monthly payroll. This should keep them viable and let each club decide how they want to treat credits vs refunds. However, there is no reason for them to decide before they know when the business will be reopened.

I pay over 3k for my son’s club so like everyone else I want a refund to if/when it’s canceled. At this point the season is delayed. So why not relax just a little until the clubs actually say there is no season?
Now if your club is asking for money for next year during this time that’s a whole different issue.
